Ebiz247 is a small company located in Northwest Montana.  Our goal is to locate new technology and the latest hi-tech gadgets and gizmos.

In order to bring you the very best products, we search the web, business sites, read press releases,  reviews and even personally test some of the new products.  We realize that everyone has different wants and needs, but everyone likes to look at the latest-greatest-newest-electro-techno gadgets!

Our owner (techno Tim) has always been inventive and looking for the latest technology.  Tim is a wildlife biologist that works with grizzly bears for the State of Montana...everyone needs a hobby!!

In 1987, Tim invented a remote camera system that was used to photograph grizzly bears in the wild without any one there to take the picture.  In other words, the grizzly bears took their own pictures by being detected by a motion sensor which triggered the camera shutter.

The system was so successful and in demand that Tim decided to produce and market it as the "
Manley Camera System".  It was used all over the world to photograph a wide range of wildlife.  The list of species "captured" on film by the "Manley Camera" included grizzly and black bears, wolves, coyotes,  mountain lions, lynx, bobcats, wolverine, pine marten, fisher, mule and white-tailed deer, elk, moose, and even more exotic species like Siberian tigers and Asiatic black bears!

Tim has an extensive background working with computers, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), database management, and more recently Global Positioning Systems (GPS).   His interest in GPS allowed Tim to research and install a vehilce mount for a laptop computer, hooked to a GPS unit that allowed Tim to have a real-time tracking and mapping system in the vehicle.

His "regular job" also involves the capture, drugging, handling, release and monitoring of grizzly bears.  The advancement in the radio collars alone is changing at a rapid rate.  We now have the ability to "track" grizzly bears using GPS collars and satellite relays!  No need to even step out the door of the office... unless the bears aren't where they belong.

If you are interested in looking at some of the work that Tim has done in the field of grizzly bear research and management then do a
Google Search on "Tim Manley grizzly bears".
